I'm thinking of making a relatively big change to Pun Dungeon
Dec. 8th, 2010 @ 10:53 am
I'll get right to the point... It's kinda bothering me that the walls of the Pun Dungeon are always just stone, but the problem is...
Could I still call it a dungeon if I all of the sudden I made the walls wallpapered and purty?
I know it's not much of a dungeon to begin with since almost everybody who lives there is not a prisoner...
But people say puns are the lowest form of humor and the lowest part of the castle is the dungeon, and I like the "pun dun" sound of pun dungeon... :|
Would anybody mind if I actually did some remodeling in the Pun Dungeon?

The main thing to be concerned about is that wallpapers can be distracting. For instance, when Phing called Dominique early on, I had trouble focusing due to all of the hearts; something more subdued tends to be easier to deal with. :)
As for the dungeony-feel . . . there's no reason you can't have a homely dungeon, particularly if you lampshade it. Perhaps the Imperor has some issues with the dungeon being so . . . cheerful . . . but Phing says (in some punny way) that if she's the master here, she can make it be cute, dang it!
:) It's your world. I wouldn't stress too much about the details.
I sometimes get carried away... I think the one with PC fairy is probably worse....^_^;
I already had some ideas for a remodeling storyline which should explain why she hasn't remodeled yet...
I agree! I think it would make a great storyline! :)
I do have a storyline forming in my head, but I don't think it'll be riddled with decorating puns! XP
(Although I just though of delightfully dreadful one right now! XD)
