Kong-paring the 1933 Kong film to the 2005 one...

-Peter Jackson starts the movie by showing us the economical depression the country was going through at the moment. In the original films it wasn't necessary since they were still in mid-depression...

This is important, because it shows why people were so desperate to succeed...

-We get to see that Ann Darrow was actually an actress before ending up jobless, while in the original movie we never know about her original job...

This is important because we know Denham didn't pick any girl off the streets, but an actress, which comes in handy later when Ann entertains Kong with her antics...

-We get to know that Denham was a real weasel, something we didn't in the real film, but he did seem to care about his crew, but wether if it was because he needed them to make the films or because he really cared is anyone's guess...

-In this movie Denham tricks the ship and actors by making them think they are going to Singapur, while in the original movie they didn't have any idea of where they were going...

-In the 2005 film Denham expects to films some ruins nobody has seen for his film and then finds Kong, while in the 1933 one he knew that Kong was there all along and intended to capture him from the beginning...

-Also in the 1933 films the crew are able to commicate with the natives who weren't as agressive as the 2005 film, but in the 2005 film they seem to know a bit more about the island than Denham did...

-The romance in the 2005 films is much better, in the first film Ann fall with Driscoll, but he was part of the ship's crew and they only fell in love because the plot required to, while in the 2005 we actually see how they fall in love, and that they don't just get engaged the moment they get back...

-I do believe that Peter kinda mocks the orignal movie romance by filming a scene similar to the orignal "romance" scene, and Driscoll and Ann thought it was silly..

-Kong is no more a silly ape, in this movie Kong is more "human", Kong really cares for Ann and he even seems to understand her, we also get to see how sad he lonely he is from being the last of his kind...

-Ann actually cares about Kong in the 2005 movie, and actually makes US care for him too, she shows us that he's not bad at all, while in the 1930 movie she's just terrified of him and makes us scream "Leave him alone you dumb ape" while Peter makes us scream "Leave the ape alone, you dumb humans!"...

-We get to see more of this lost world, more dinosaurs and other creatures living in it, of course back then a few dinos were not only enough but a huge accomplisment!

In "Kong"-clusion, Peter Jackson pays homage to the original films, extends it and explains part that weren't explained before, making it am even bigger masterpiece than before!
