Budget budget budget... MUSHROOM MUSHROOM!

Previous Entry Budget budget budget... MUSHROOM MUSHROOM! Feb. 18th, 2009 @ 06:50 pm Next Entry
If you know me by now, you know I'm an over thinker and over planner...

And I was just calculating how much I might spend on the UK Thing trip...

I can "guestimate" how much I might spend at museums and such, and how much on food, but...

I have no idea how much I might spend at the actual convention... Which is mildly upsetting... I know that I've met some people enough times to know they don't have anything new, but they might do sketch... or have a con exclusive... who knows!

The reason I was going to make a more concrete budget was when I realized I just might be able to afford an iPhone, they sell them less than 200€ but you need to sign up for a 3G service which only works in Spain... Which sucks...

But then I realized that... OOOH! The new Sega collection is out and so is Street Fighter IV and Onechebara and... my mouse is dying... and I need ink for my printer... Hmm...

I think I'm only getting ONE game until I'm back from the UK thing, and that game will be the Sega Collection, mostly because it's the cheapest and has the most games! You think I'd get Street Fighter but I'd need to buy a special pad with it, which would practically double the price....

I might buy an indie game or two... Like Emerald City Confidential...

Yeah, obviously the iPhone is out of the question, unless I have enough points to get a huge discount that is! But I doubt it....

It's better to go on a trip and not really worry about the budget then to have a strict one that might ruin my fun, right?

I ended up with a nice but in my budget bed & breakfast called the New Inn

Hotels are way too expensive and this seemed pretty nice yet affordable!

And it's close to the Regent's Park and the Zoo!

By the way, Gosh opens on Sundays, right? I was planning on going there after visiting the British Museum, and spending whatever money I have left from the UK thing! ^_^;
