I finally decided to create my own Live Journal... Jan. 28th, 2005 @ 09:31 pm Next Entry
I had an urge to create an LJ and now I finally have one!
I'll probably rant about videogames (old and new), B-movies and horror movies, toons and other stuff...
And of course I probably tell how day went and all that rot...

And yes, I'm addicted to using "..."...

Let's get this started, OK?
Oh, since this is my first entry, bare with me, OK?
I stopped playing the WoW Europe Beta when I found out my character would be deleted, and since I had already decided that I'd be an Undead Warlock and that'd I'd buy it anyway, it wasn't a big deal anyway...

I have a little motto when it comes to gaming: "Buy at least a game a week, beat at least a game a week"

I just got a package from Apogee the the other day with loads of old games which reminded me that I had started a game of Duke Nukem II, and I managed to beat the rest of the game in a few hours...

The games was great fun and I enjoyed it, but one thing bothered me...

The first boss... was damn impossible! In the end I had to cheat to beat him, and thinking the rest of the game would be just as hard, but...
The rest of the bosses were just too damn easy, I did have to use the old kamikaze technique on the last one (hoping he dies before I do), but still it was too easy...

I use to always choose "Easy" mode, but now I'm wondering if I played the first chapter on Normal or even Hard, or maybe the made it harder (a.k.a. more exciting) because it was the shareware episode used to lure people to buy the full game?

In the ending the tell you to wait for his new adventures in Duke Nukem "3"D, since I never beat it, now I'm wondering if at the end of this game he ask us to wait for his adventures in Duke Nukem "Four"ever...

I'd better stop now before this become a full fledged rant...
