If there is one thing that really irks me is lazy postmen.... My new postman is one of those apparently!

He just started (or she, I haven't met the postman yet) and I already know he'll just leave me a notice to pick up something he's carrying at the moment since it doesn't fit in the slot, perish the thought of actually buzzing the doorbell to actually see if somebody is home!

So each time he comes I have to wait an extra day and lose 40 minutes of my life, because he was too lazy to ring my doorbell? How is that fair?

I'm pretty sure it takes less time to ring my doorbell than to fill out that silly notice too! And sometimes it's just something you could have FOLDED and fitted into the mailbox even!

Ugh! I know how you feel. In my case, we have different ones on a rotation basis I guess and sometimes we get someone else's mail >_<***

I get that too sometimes, but I'm giving this guy another chance, maybe I was distracted when he called?

See, with the postmen i've had, i think that sometimes they just ASSUME that nobody will be home. I'm thinking that they pre-fill out the "sorry we missed you" notices before leaving on their route, and just drop those off. I've even wondered if they do that *AND* leave the packages behind at the post office, so that even if you were to tackle them, they would not be able to give it to you. =(

I think some of them probably do that, but the one I had before this was pretty decent!

Could have been worse... he could have just put the package up against the door or beneath the staircase and dropping a note telling that he did so...

Probably done with good intentions, but damn risky if you tell me!

... yes, thats how it went here at some point :/
