I've just seen the U.S. version of Shin Chan...

What have they done! ?
The Spanish version is the original translated version, so I know what REALLY happens, and I know that most of the characters are much nicer and innocent in the REAL version!
In the U.S. it seems they've made every character a sadistic pervert, nympho or a wife beater!
The worst you get in the original version is people with a bad temper!
I don't even what to know what they did the "lovey dovey" couple Yoshi and Michirin! ¬_¬
No wonder Spain loves Shin Chan, we got the better version! Making a mildly crude cartoon cruder doesn't make it funnier! DX
I had no idea...
I just thought Shin Chan was some fucked up show about pissing and farts and dicks and stuff.
The original version does have farts, but the have "pipis" and don't get much dirtier...
Personally, I like the US version of it, with the exception of Georgie's annoying political "jokes".
But of course, I've never seen another version, so I have no idea what to compare it to.
I assume Georgie is the little "posh" rich kid? He's just a posh kid in the original series and he never makes jokes... :/
Dude, seriously, I edited some Crayon Shin-Chan manga for a company I work for.
You clearly get a VERY toned down version.
Unless you get shots of him drawing on his genitals to make them look like an elephant or him getting spanked by his mother after telling her she has small breasts.
That's in the original, but the Adult Swim version makes it go overboard!
According to Wikipedia, the make the teacher who never gets a date a nympho, the director who just looks like a gangster has actually killed people in the U.S. version...
Shin Chan is a pervert, but he's still a 5 year old! He doesn't know about dildo or dirty Sanchez, but he apparently does in the Adult Swim one...
To sum in up, it's like a perverted Simpsons in the original, and the Adult Swim series is full blown South Park!
You can see why I have no love for Shin Chan. I've only seen the American version.
