Summer of non-stop gaming action!

Wow, is this a good summer to be a gamer or what?
We start of with Soul Calibur IV, which is awesome enough to not net a Jedi in it, and then we get the weekly American Mc Gee's Grimm Tales, which are short but fun, and it's rather cool to see how Grimm turns colorful tales into dark and grimm ones, which is actually how the tales really were!
And then... Braid! If it's not the next Portal, it was pretty close! It's an awesome puzzle plataformer which makes me feel smarter for beating it! X3
And then, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, a must have for Homestat Runner fans for PC and Wii!
... I'm not sure Europe gets the Wii version though since the U.S. gets it's new VC games on Monday and Europe on Friday we'll have to wait! But it seem like the PC version is much cheaper!
Bionic Commando RE-Armed felt like playing a sequel of the NES game and it was retro goodness! X3
It seems like the games keep coming and coming! Today we have another Grimm Tale, and tomorrow is when Europe gets new Virtual Channel update!
The part that really sucks is that I've yet to play online with anybody.... And that Castle Crashers the only game I'm sure I would be able to play with someone online, is released the day I go back to work, so I won't have time to play it... :(
I am going to try the Grimm game episode 1 today.
If I like it I might go Gold finally on Gametap or... well... you know... the other option. (which is how I played Insecticide episode 1... money, pshaw..., but hey if they made a demo, I would never played the whole game based on it)
The fact that I ended not really liking the Sam & Max games changed my decision there.
It's VERY short, but I like it!
If you didn't like the Sam & Max games you might not like the Strong Bad game though... :/
How is Insecticide?
I just tried the first episode of Grimm... it did nothing for me. I'm saddened, I really wanted to get into it, but the gameplay seems clunky to me.
Insecticide is a lot like that... clunky. The graphics rock and the voice acting incredible, but the adventure segments are too easy for veterans like us and the action sequences are way to clunky and slippery with some bad platforming and it has to be played using a keyboard.
Not worth the time or energy sadly.
I might be kind of getting jaded is a problem BUT here's some games I still need to try.
Broken Sword 4
Zak Mckraken 2
and from a little bit back
I really liked The Black Mirror though and
Art of Murder FBI while having some stupid storytelling elements isn't bad either.
The plataforming and contorls get a bit better in the next episodes, but it is a very "light" game... :/
I've only played BS 4 and I do remember liking it.
You've just reminded me about A Vampyre's Story! I had nearly forgotten about it!
