I can't believe this actually works!

I'm a very light sleeper, it takes me ages to fall asleep and little to wake me up, but it seems I've found something that actually helps!
I just got some of that natural music with sounds of the ocean and bird songs and all that rot and played it on my iPod at night, and since my wandering mind is now focusing on the soothing music it seems I fall asleep easier!
Since tomorrow is when I leave to NYC, tonight should be the night I get no sleep and the day I feel nauseous, I don't know about the nausea, but I might actually get some sleep tonight! 8D
I'm the same way, sleep wise. What I've found works is a loud fan. It blocks out all of the other noises and lets me sleep in white noise bliss :)
I'm not sure that would work on me, most loud sounds, even when it's something I like on normal volume levels, just annoy me and get me in a bad mood... ^_^;
For me, it's gotta be something that's a constant noise. If it's quiet music, my mind concentrates on the music and i just keep listening to it, and listening to it... and I can never fall asleep.
At sleepovers where people used to sleep with the TV on... DROVE ME NUTS. LOL
I find that illogical too, when I watch something and doze off, my brain struggles to keep me awake to continue watching the show...
This music is almost constant noise in a way, it's usually a mild flute tune with birds and the ocean.
I just hope this doesn't condition me to fall asleep the moment I hear a flute! XD
