I don't think I've talked about it yet, but I intend to go to a con in the US next year, but I'm not entirely sure which to go to...
Is it me or do only the indie conventions list the indie artists? I've been checking people I KNOW will go to conventions I want to visit, but don't see them!
The conventions I want to go to are Dragon Con, San Diego Comic Con or maybe Heroes con, it's likely to be Dragon Con because it seems I might meet more people I want to meet there, except NON of them appear on the guest list!
I guess I'd enjoy MoCCA, but going to the US for a one day con... it just isn't reasonable...
But this is all still far away, I still have time to decide... :P
Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to do the UK Thing next year... I hope! |
From what I've heard you need to book in May to be sure. Even the ticket for Los Angeles is more expensive, which is why I'm leaning towards Dragon Con, but like I said it's still mostly in the air, I want to decide based on who's going but I won't know who is going for next year for a while! That's one of the problems, some people decide at the last minute, and by then it will nearly impossible to get an hotel... :( Hmm, I hadn't thought of Megacon until now. Thanks why it's basically down to Comic con and Dragon Con, they are the only ones which would justify the strip, the only problem is I have NO IDEA what there is to do in Georgia, and San Diego is slightly more expensive but has Sea World. I'd love to go to Dragon Con someday, but I think Gerald and I will be going to Anime Weekend Atlanta instead this year. |
