I made my first videogame trade a few weeks ago with a someone I met in gaming forum trade and the other day the traded game arrived....

I gave him Hollywood Monsters and I got... A "backup" CD, if you know what I mean...

And for some strange reason I'm not mad at him, he seems completely unaware that what he has done is a big no-no. You see, he likes in Pakistan, and I don't think he could purchase a game legally if he wanted to...

Now he keeps asking me about Ebay, he seems that he really wants to have the real deal...

The afternoon of that day when I went to PC repairing class, I arrived a bit early, and saw spot where the teacher could park, so I stood there...

Call it a Zen moment, a magic moment, a moment of inner peace or whatever you want but, I never felt better standing there. There was such a pleasant breeze, the birds were chirping, the wind was waving the trees just right. I was actually happy that everybody arrived late that day!

(Shakes off corniness)

I'm really getting into Half-Life 2 now, I'm having the time of my life, when I left I was in the middle of Raveholm, a zombie infested town, while other games see explosions and such, I see an incredible physics engine! The gravity gun is just great! I love using it to solve puzzles, I practically defeated half the enemies there by throwing furniture, explosives and specially saw blades...

The characater seems so real, you actually care for them. Father Grigori is a holy men who insists in staying in Ravenholm, to put the zombies (former "flock") to peace...

And then, Highway 17, antlion live in the sands so if you aren't quick you'll get swarmed, that why you have to ride a buggy, this level has plenty "puzzles". There are many roadblocks each more difficult to pass where you must use you grav gun and brain to find out how to continue...

The Sandtraps were fun too, you no longer have your cart to drive over the sand so you must simply try your best to avoid the sand. The cool part starts when you get the "bug bait", a bunch of bug pheromones that makes then think you are their leader, so you get your own army!

Too bad the games seems to be crashing more than ever, but tech support have given a solution I will try tomorrow...

Speaking of tomorrow, that's the day my mega Atari 2600 haul should arrive, and since I expressed the delivery, I believe it will arrive tomorrow...

Which is quite odd, I always thought I was jinxed, or murphology personified, when it came to plans, and specially plans that involve mail delivery...

You see, every time a package should arrive just in time for a long weekend, or a normal one even (It's a holiday on Monday and Tuesday in Spain next week), it always arrived AFTER...

No matter what I plan something goes wrong and ruins it, that's the keyword: PLAN! If I just "wing it" the weekend goes fine, but if I plan something to do, even if it's work, something always goes wrong!

Could this be the end of the "curse", it would be pretty weird if a express package arrived late, but I'm not counting my eggs till they hatch...

We shall see if tomorrow's blog is entitled "YAY! The games are here!" or "&%#@! Where are my bloody games?!?"...

I don't know if I've talked about these 50 Movie Pack I got from the net, I have three of them: Martial arts, sci-fi and horror, all horrible, in B-movie heaven way it is... Or is it?

Lately it seems most of the movies aren't not really bad, but they barely fit their category, what's the point of a horror movie, if the monster only appears for a few moments and the rest of the movie is an action/drama? Same goes for the sci-fi ones. The martial arts ones are OK....

On a final note, I'm seriously thinking I should change my World of Warcraft play times, I think I'll leave the weekend for other games or activities and play Warcraft during the week, or vice versa
