A lazy summer day...

Previous Entry A lazy summer day... Jun. 8th, 2006 @ 11:18 pm Next Entry
I didn't do much today, I read the Devil's Panties comics, got a TV cable for my PC TV card...

The thing is today was VERY hot, 35 ºC/95ºF... The moment I had some free time, I.... just didn't feel like doing anything, not even gaming or surfing, I just layed there...

I'm not usually lazy, I might not being something useful all the time, but I do like to be doing something all the time!

Geez, I could even get myself to watch a DVD or the TV! :P

In other news, although I didn't do anything productive today (except at my job that is), I did get quite inspired!

I found one of those dancing cacti from the 80's (it was my sisters, but she gave it to me), and thought...

Ok, so it has one of those funky 80's patterns that remind me of Saved by the Bell, but imagine it without the sunglasses and with a mustache!

I could try to paint the sombrero the right color and add his huge smile, but if I don't find a mustache I won't be able to do a thing...

Oh, the guitar has to go too!

I've searched at tons of online costume shops with no results, so I'll have to try with those stores that sell pranksters props?

1) Doesn't a Mr. Potato Head come with a mustache?

2) You could always modify a cheap black pocket comb to look like a mustache.

I don't have a Mr. Potato Head...

What do you mean by modifying a comb? Gluing some cloth or similar on top of it?

Flocking on the comb might work.

Another idea...your local Kaybee or Toys R Us would have kids' disguise sets. Some of those have stick-on mustaches.

Well, I'm going close to a Toys R US today(yes, we actually have those over here), so I might as well try to find one...
