I'll try not to make any puns while writing this mini review on Boo... I mean Tomb Raider Legend... :P

The last Tomb Raider game bombed so bad that Eidos decided to give the rights to Tomb Raider to another company, Crystal Dynamics, the people behind Soul Reaver and Gex...

The first thing you'll notice when playing the game is that is seem to be more based on the movie than on the original series, and I'm not the only one who thinks this way...

Now Lara has a "team", something frequent in games today. A game is less tedious when you hear the character comment about thing while playing, but when you're alone the conversations are one-sided and are much better when you have someone who can talk back to you...

The team as always in the Croft Manor, seeing what you do with the cam you have on your head, and they usually comment on how insane Lara is for her crazy stunts, but hey, that's why I admire her so, she makes Indy look like a amateur! Not to mentions she's nicer to look at too... :P

Ah, yes... Of course, you can't talk about Lara, without talking about her "bigguns"...

Her proportions are more realistic now, but the game is so great that you'll say: "WOW! Lara Croft is awesome!" fist, and "WOW! She sure is hot!" second...

The game's length is fair, and it has many unlockables to make the game longer...

I must say that the controls weren't perfect, I had to use a pad and a mouse at the same time at some moments, because you can't aim your guns well with a gamepad...

I didn't like the shootouts, they were always the same, they same guys, and the same animals too! How many leopards are there in the world?

The bosses are a whole different thing, they are the kind of bosses that need strategy and are a bit of the puzzle, you usually have to use things from the area to defeat the boss...

The bosses themselves are the hardest part of the game, and oddly enough they get easier after a certain point...

What I really love about Lara is seeing her jumping around and doing acrobatic stunts, since I love plataformers, it makes sense that jumping around and swinging from poles is bliss for me! Whee!

They also seem to have added "Dragon's Lair"-like sequences, interactive sequences where you must press a certain button at a certain time to advance, but it's usually just 3 or 4 moves and that's that...

Lara move all around the world, England, Japan, but what bothered me is that you have to ride the bike too many times in some levels, and it's not just going as fast as possible, you HAVE to kill all the bad guys or the level will LOOP!

Like I mentioned before, they game has many unlockable, which are bronze, silver and gold items hidden in the level, the things you unlock aren't that interesting, but was it necessary to add a "dress up" thing?

Yes, you unlock costumes for lara to wear, she even dresses up as a GOTH! And of course, for the fans of "bigguns" they included a bikini costume...

Which reminds me I didn't talk about the graphics! The game looks great at full specs, but what I don't understand is that to access "next gen" content I need a graphic card that is as expensive as an Xbox 360...

No matter, the game is beautiful non the less, and they added a water effect on Lara for the fanboys... Yes, you can see her soaking wet... ¬_¬

I don't know what more I can say, Tomb Raider is fun to play again, they game might have some flaws and it's not perfect, but it's the best Tomb Raider game in the series in my opinion...

I do have that feeling that this game was rushed again though....
